Yesterday the Fashion world suffered a great loss. Zelda Kaplan, most famous for her club kid days and affinity for African inspiration passed away in New York at age 95. What is so poignant about her passing is Zelda died while sitting front row at New York Fashion Week. Not many people can be remembered as their last moments on this earth being at the epicenter of their truest passion. Too many amazing people who have lived epic and meaningful lives have spent their finale so far removed from anything that resembled the zeal of their former life. But not Zelda, she went out in style.

“I want to keep learning until it’s over. And when it’s over, it’s over.”
